Who we are
Brothers who build in the open.
We’re a set of brothers with overlapping trades. Some projects are two of us; some pull in the whole table. The work spans brand, product, physical objects, and the written word — and we’d rather be caught learning than caught pretending.
This site is our commonplace book: the things we ship, and the honest account of how they came together — including the parts that went sideways.

Builds the front end. Interfaces, layouts, and the parts people actually touch. He tends to fuss over how a page behaves on a small screen and a patchy connection, because that's where most of it gets read.

Full Stack Developer
Builds software end to end. Spends most of the rest of his time with a bonnet up, on engines, wiring and cooling systems, or whatever else has stopped working. He mostly writes here about the jobs that didn't go to plan the first time round.

Product designer & Metal Fabrication Expert
Designs products and then goes and makes them. Mostly in metal, which means a drawing has to survive contact with a cutting list and a welder before anyone calls it finished. Most of what he writes about lives in that gap.

Architecture Designer & Visualization Expert
Designs buildings, and makes them possible to see before they exist. Plans, models and renders, so someone can walk through a place that is still only on paper and say what's wrong with it while changing it is still cheap.

Graphic Designer & Cost Estimation + Optimization Expert
Splits his time between how a thing looks and what it costs. Graphic design on one side, estimation and optimisation on the other. The two argue with each other more often than you'd expect, and he's usually the one settling it.
